WASHING CATS MADE EASY ....

This was simply too much of a timesaver not to share it with you.
1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl...
2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.
3. In one smooth movement put the cat in the toilet and close the lid. You may need to stand on the lid.
4. At this point the cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this!
5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a 'Power-Wash' and 'Rinse'.
6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.
7. Stand well back, behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift the lid.
8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where he will dry himself off.
9. Both the toilet and the cat will be sparkling clean.

FASTING TO GOOD HEALTH .. . ..

Scientists acknowledged three major mechanisms by which fasting benefits your body, as it extends lifespan and protects against disease: Reduced oxidative stress – Fasting decreases the accumulation of oxidative radicals in the cell, and thereby prevents oxidative damage to cellular proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids associated with aging and disease. Increased insulin sensitivity and mitochondrial energy efficiency – Fasting increases insulin sensitivity along with mitochondrial energy efficiency, and thereby retards aging and disease, which are typically associated with loss of insulin sensitivity and declined mitochondrial energy. Increased capacity to resist stress, disease and aging – Fasting induces a cellular stress response (similar to that induced by exercise) in which cells up-regulate the expression of genes that increase the capacity to cope with stress and resist disease and aging.

RETIRE EARLY, RETIRE RICH IN MALAYSIA

Malaysia, situated in the heart of Asia, has one of the highest standards of living, yet maintains cheap cost of living. As an example, a burger from a well-known fast food restaurant in the UK costs around £5.00, which translates to about RM35.00 (conversion rate £1.00=RM7.00), where the same burger in Malaysia would cost you only RM7.00! It is even cheaper if you try local Malaysian cuisine. The table below gives some more indications on the living expenses in Malaysia. Malaysia also has world-class highways that connect all the States in Peninsula Malaysia, modern urban transportation systems that make traveling to the city a breeze, and has among the best medical facilities in Asia.

Could This Be Nature's Answer To - And Your Best Defense Against - Free Radicals?*

Your body needs both types of antioxidants because each one targets different types of cells and tissues for free radical scavenging… Water-soluble antioxidants – These are present in aqueous fluids, such as blood and intracellular and extracellular fluids. They react with oxidants in the cell cytosol (fluid portion of cytoplasm) and the blood plasma. Examples of water-soluble antioxidants include… vitamin C, glutathione, and catechins. Lipid-soluble antioxidants – These are localized to cellular membranes and lipoproteins. They protect cell membranes from lipid peroxidation.* Examples of lipid-soluble antioxidants include… vitamins E, A, and beta-carotene. The bottom line… to fight and help neutralize pesky free radicals, you need both types of antioxidants from as many sources as possible.* When taken together, the efficacy of water- and lipid-soluble antioxidants is enhanced even more ... there are only 2 known sources… A very unique source of microalgae called Haematococcus pluvialis and… Sea creatures (salmon, and krill, for example) that consume the microalgae eg.wild Pacific salmon contains astaxanthin that is… 20 times stronger than synthetic astaxanthin 400% higher in quantity than farmed salmon 100% natural in the salmon’s pigment, and not synthetic

Does lemon help you better absorb the iron in food?

It is important to have a good amount of iron in your body. This is because iron is what takes the oxygen to your organs and muscles, and without it, you can easily become anemic. Iron is found in many foods, including red meats, poultry, dried fruits, fish, nuts, green leafy veggies, and seeds. Oftentimes, eating these iron-rich foods in combination with other foods will help you absorb the iron much easier. Beware that there also some foods out there that will hinder your iron absorption. In short, yes, lemon can help you absorb iron better. Putting a little lemon juice in your bean salad with cucumbers and tomatoes is not only delicious, but is an excellent way to get more iron in your diet. Other great foods to aid in your iron absorption include citrus fruits. Eating a good spinach salad with some mandarin oranges is great; also a nice glass of orange juice with a bowl of iron fortified cereal will make a great healthy breakfast. Vegetables such as green peppers and tomatoes will also help. Stir fry is a favorite in our house, and this combination of peppers, onions, and broccoli with steak or chicken is a great way to increase your iron intake. Spaghetti with a good tomato-based meat sauce will give you a large amount of iron absorption. So try out some of these food combinations and improve your iron intake today
